Weather concerns, rainouts and make-up games

It has been an interesting start to the 2019 season to say the least. Even though we are experiencing more game cancellations more than usual, Crown City Little League remains committed to playing all games and providing our players with the best baseball experience as possible.

While it has long been the goal of the league to not play baseball games on Mother’s Day, Memorial Day weekend, sometimes the weather forces our hand and it becomes necessary to play make-up games on those days. Of course, the first and best option always is to play games, especially playoffs, at their regularly scheduled time, but when rainouts occur or the fields just are not in shape to safely play, we ask for everyone's patience and support.

The league understands that school functions, holidays and other family events make it difficult to adjust schedules and we appreciate your flexibility. Any cancellations and make-up dates will be announced as soon a possible and posted to our website.
