Annual Meeting

When: Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 7 pm
Where: Cortland Jr. Sr. High School, LGI Room. We will also stream the meeting via our Facebook page
Who: All coaches, parents, umpires and friends of the league are welcome to attend

2021 Season Review
During the annual meeting of Crown City Little League, those in attendance will discuss issues related to the 2021 season as well as ways to improve the league for the upcoming season. If you have anything you’d like to share (positive or negative), this open forum will be your opportunity to do so.

2022 Board of Directors Election
We also will elect a board of directors to serve the league for the 2022 season. Anyone interested in running for a board seat is asked to email president Steve Woodard. Individuals running for a seat will be given the opportunity to speak. Elected board members will assemble for a brief meeting immediately following the Annual Meeting.

Become a League Member
Please note that this meeting is open to anyone but only those who are in attendance and have paid the $5 membership fee may participate in voting. Also note that all coaches are required by local rules to be a league member.


12u All-Stars Win District 8 Tournament

The Crown City 12U all-star team was crowned District 8 champions Wednesday night after defeating Solvay 9-1 at Burnham Park in Mattydale.

The team went a perfect 7-0 in the tournament and outscored opponents 87-15, including only 1 run in both the semifinal and championship games.

The impressive all-star roster is comprised of Cal Albright, Liam Baker, Jordan Brown, Owen Coon, Mark Ecker, Dan Furze, Tristan Milligan, Brennan Poole, Logan Totman, and Brennan Wilson, Foster Eaton, Cole Milligan and Owen Mulcahy. 


7-9 Postseason Baseball

Does your 7, 8 or 9 year old Rookie or Minors Division player want to play more baseball this summer? Sign up for an extended season of baseball at no additional cost!

This extended season will give:

The general outline is as follows: 
Format: Minors Division rules, played with a hard ball
Season Duration: Wednesdays 6-8 pm and Saturday mronings July 21- August 21.

There is no comittment to be at every session. Games will be played will be played if there are enough participants.

Mets Take Majors Crown, Nationals Top the Minors

Major Division: The regular season ends on Wednesday, June 23. The double elimination playoffs begin on Saturday, June 26 and will conclude on Friday July 9 or if needed Saturday, July 10. View the Majors playoff page

Concession Volunteers Needed

The leagueis in desperate need of your assistance with operating our concession stand. The stand is a great convenience to our players and fans but relies solely on volunteers to open during games. With little to no training involved, please consider volunteering for just one night.

100% of the profits are returned to our league and go to support our efforts to provide quality baseball programs for our children.

Mask Mandate Lifted Effective June 8

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo announced that summer camps and school districts can choose to lift the requirement that their students must wear masks outdoors during school activities. In line with that decision, Crown City Little League will lift its mask mandate effective immediately. Face coverings will no longer be required for players, coaches, volunteers or fans participating in CCLL activities.

The voluntary use of face coverings for individuals feeling the need to wear them is still encouraged and will be supported. We also encourage non-family members to practice social distancing while at Testa Park.

Volunteers

If you wish to volunteer for CCLL in 2021, you must email Safety Officer Erin Gosse stating that you wish to volunteer and whether you are a returning or new volunteer. You will then receive an email back with a personal link to complete an online background questionnaire. This questionnaire will take approximately 10 minutes.
