Division changes for 2023

For the first time since its inception in 2007, Crown City Little League will introduce a new format for our divisions of play. In order to better develop the skills of our youngest players, the Rookie Division will now only include new players that are league age 5 and 6 years old. A strong emphasis will be put on making sure that players are being taught age appropriate skills within shorter practice and scrimmage times.

Additionally, a new division called NCAA will be created and include all returning 6 year olds, as well as all 7 and 8 year olds not moved up into the minors. The goal of the division is to provide a more structured and competitive atmosphere that will aid in player development and better prepare them to enter the minor division.

The format of the the Minor and Major Divisions will stay the same.

More information on divisions, league age, and why some players are "moved up."
