Welcome, today is Sunday, May 31, 2020

A Possible July/August Season in the Works.

While we had hoped to have a decision on the status of our 2020 Crown City Little League season today, there are still many questions that must be answered at the New York State and Cortland County levels before we can make a final determination. Our intent is to begin local league play on July 1, 2020 as long as conditions permit us to do so safely.

We will know more this week as the Central New York region looks to open up non-essential businesses and activities. Our local Health Department and elected officials in Cortlandville will provide guidance and direction on which businesses and organizations will be able to safely resume activities, to what extent activities may actually resume and exactly when activities may begin. As has been the Governor's pattern, we expect information to flow to us daily with specific decisions on re-opening NY coming in two weeks increments (May 15th , June 1st, June 15th etc...).

We ask for your patience as we await information on when we may resume. While we wait, we are busy planning for a regular season that would start July 1st and run through August 31st. Our regular season would only include games being played within Cortland County. We will provide updates weekly or as pertinent information becomes available. Please check our web page at, our Facebook page, our Instagram page and be sure to subscribe to the REMIND App for the latest information from CCLL.

If we are unable to begin play in July and are forced to cancel the 2020 CCLL season, we will share the process by which refunds will be made available for all registrants and sponsors. Please direct any questions to Steve Woodard at
